Wife of President Muhammadu Buhari, Aisha, has expressed gratitude to Nigerians for prayers offered for the recovery of her husband.
She made this known on Monday in a tweet after the President’s return from the UK where he was undergoing medical treatment.
“As we welcome our dear President back home, I am grateful to Nigerians and well-wishers all over the world for their continuous prayers and support. May God continue to guide, protect and bless us all and our dear country Nigeria,” she said.
The President’s return on Saturday sparked a lot of jubilation across the country.
He has now resumed office at the state house as he signed the letter informing the National Assembly of his resumption of duty from today (Monday).
