Tecno Camon 15 Pro and Infinix S5 Pro recently launched and although both devices bag great specs, choosing to buy one of these devices can be a headache. While this post won’t tell you which devices to buy, we’ll be comparing these devices specs, features, and price to help you pick the one that suits your daily need.

Tecno Camon 15 Pro and Infinix S5 Pro have a lot in common, from the display down to the processor, however, both devices have their distinct differences. Both devices feature a 6.5-inch display, 6.53-inch on the S5 Pro and 6.55-inch on the Camon 15 Pro, a 0.2-inch higher in the Camon 15 Pro.

Both devices render a resolution of 2340 x 1080 pixels on the FHD display. They both make use of a motorised pop-up camera giving you a full edge-to-edge screen without any cutout. The devices use a 2.5D Glass on Front, 3D Glass Back Unibody design.

On the rear view, there’s a fingerprint sensor on both devices.

Camon 15 Pro and Infinix S5 Pro boast of a 48MP main camera, however, the Camon 15 is assisted by 3 other camera (a 5MP 115° ultra-wide-angle lens, 2MP camera for 2cm macro, Ultra Night Lens supported by DSP chip) for more picture details while S5 Pro has two other cameras (a 2MP Depth Sensor and a VGA Low light Sensor) to complement the main camera. The rear camera is aligned vertically on a fairly large bump and as for the selfie camera, Infinix S5 Pro houses a 16MP shooter on the motorised panel while Camon 15 Pro boasts of a 32MP selfie shooter.

The Camon 15 Pro has the upper hand in the camera segment, so, if you’re looking for a great camera the Camon 15 will capture great details.

Both devices runs on MediaTek’s Helio P35 mid-range processor @ 2Ghz on S5 Pro, assisted by 4GB RAM, 64GB storage and 2.35Ghz with 6GB RAM, 128GB on Camon15 Pro. Both storages can be expanded up to 256GB.

In the GPU segment, Camon 15 Pro and S5 Pro has PowerVR GE8320 to handle all graphics.

Both devices runs the latest Android 10 OS with the company’s customized skin on it (latest HiOS and XOS).

Under the hood, Infinix S5 Pro and Camon 15 Pro is fueled by a 4000mAh battery which is pretty decent, and both come with standard fast charging support.

Tecno Camon 15 Pro cost 15,499 INR ~ $208 (approx N77,000), S5 Pro, on the other hand, comes with a lesser price, 9,999 INR ~ $135 (approx N50,000). I guess the higher price on the Camon 15 Pro accounts fro the large memory, however, it is still worth it.

Conclusion

Both devices are great and offer great value for money. If you’re after a good performance device, huge storage and a good camera and ready to pay for it, then the Tecno Camon 15 isn’t a bad option. But if you’re on a low budget and still want great specs and performance, Infinix S5 Pro will sure serve it purpose.
